Advocacy is the act of supporting a cause to produce a desired change. We advocate because we feel strongly about a particular issue. You can influence government, corporations, journalist, sponsors, and professionals. Understand what advocacy is and the many different ways you can get involved.

Los Derechos Humanos: Camino a Santiago September/October 2010
International Solidarity for Human Rights will be taking on the challenge of the The Way to St.James, aka El Camino de Santiago. Throughout this 266 kilometer pilgrimage by foot covering Northwestern Spain, we will distribute thousands of copies of the ISHR Pocket Guide to Human Rights.

This multi-media project will take residents and visitors throughout Florida, where they may visit 30 works of art, each representing one of the 30 Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Students are welcome to participate. By participating as volunteers students can fulfill Service Learning Credits & Community Service Hours.
